Camporee

Whether it be on a council or the district level Scouts love a camporee. Camporee provides Scouts an opportunity to show off their Scouting skills against Scouts from other patrols and troops. Camporee is about competing in skills competitions, but it is also a chance for younger Scouts to learn and hone those skills which may not be as refined as those of older Scouts... A big hit at the conclusion of the camporee is the dutch oven cook-off. Adults as well as Scouts are welcome to participate in the cook-off.
